Well he is back, but never made it to see mum and his new niece as the last exercise he had to do at sea made him late docking so he went straight up to Bex's. They were at a show on the Sunday so the closest I got to seeing him were these pictures .............. www.equiphotos.co.uk/section195438_153358.html [new pony - Bex is able to ride off the lead rein - but I do wonder if they are trying to tell me something ummmm? ]

This was a new pony at its first ever show and the pictures were taken as Jubs led her around the show ground. He hasn't dropped Chief Steward he is just never here to do it. He sails again at the end of August for another long tour so wont be at the Champs this year.

Right to clear things up, we took Connie to our local charity show to see how she was going to cope at a show in her new role of lead rein pony (which she is proving to be a superstar at!). I had just finished a class with another pony and we thought the pink rosette went well with the pink pony so kept it on! LOL we didnt do a class with her she just went for a ride round and the photographer is our friend so we got him to take some photos for us.
Hi Moggs! glad you have got to see the pictures, she's a natural : ) all the SWPA lead rein people will have to watch out when Connie's about!
Med - we have already 'claimed' her for when we eventually get round to making a lead rein jockey of our own : ) he he

Well - as I am enjoying my first grandchild so much ....................... um ..................... [enough said!]
Strong challenge you have thrown out there Bex - we have got some pretty good lead reiners down here in the South West. I know, Moggs why don't you bring Bex down to the Champs this year, just for some fun at the end of the season and to suss out the competition!
