Richard and I are sorry to postpone this show, but feel that in everyone's safety we must re-arrange for Saturday 28 March. It will be the same schedule at the same venue, but if people could pass the word around to others who might not have access to this forum or our website we would appreciate it.
Anyone who has sent in pre-entries we will hold them over till 28 March unless you contact us. We will obviously be phoning everyone for whom we have contact details on the entry form.

We're completely snowed in here; I havn't heard one car go past and school is cancelled for the 3rd day this week I agree with you Med, especially after seeing the news, and hopefully you'll get even more entries next time It's a shame we'll miss seeing everyone and Charlie is disappointed but another day off school has def. cheered him up Let's hope for a FAB show in March ;D

We seem to have been missed with the last batch of snow here in South Cornwall, rain instead. Lets hope for lovely spring weather at the next SWPA Show.

Well I have phoned/left messages for all the pre-entries AND been sent home from work as it so bad in Weston. [that means I can have little grandchild Faye all afternoon - he he!]
It is all turning to slush now and of course tomorrow will be a beautiful sunny, dry day - won't it?

It is very wet here now with the huge amount of snow melting and they have forecast -4 to -8 tonight, so the ground will be like an ice rink tomorrow - that's worse than the snow!

the roads are already lethal here just been out to do last feeds and my yard is a 15 minute drive which took me ages i had to crawl there. Such a shame about tomorrow but definately the right decision with any luck it might have warmed up a bit by march!!

Some people don't seem to think so though! Richard had a phone call on his WORKS mobile [do not know where they got that from, but must have taken some investigating] at about 4 pm last night. Conversation went something like this: "I heat the shows been cancelled then!" "Yes, we felt in the interests of ......" "BUT I've plaited my pony" "Yes, but we had it posted on the forum and website since 7 am this morning and we have phoned all the pre-entries during the morning" "But I've plaited my pony" and with that they put the phone down

Crazy people!!! Lovely day here, alas everything is frozen and i think i would have just about got out of the lane but the road to the village is pretty dire, def not to be attempted with a lorry!

It wasn't me...I wasn't going to plait until the evening lol Ok, so I was a little miffed having looked forward to it for so long, but even I can see the sense in postponing

Yes, even I was miffed ----- seems a long time since I had a face to face conversation with any horsey people, but I was relieved once we made the decision, which in the end was very easy to make with such bad conditions.
28 March is not toooo far away.
