I received this request from an SWPA member. "Stolen from Great Llyvos Farm, Cross Ash nr Abergavenny in Wales on 5/5/09. Just 2 weeks old. His Dam is very distressed and we are concerned for his welafare. Any information please contact 07773354449 / 07976613326."Please be vigilant and look for anything that might return this little baby to its mum.

oh no! hope hes found soon, will post posters at PC as it's not far from here Any sort of public awareness could just make this little lad too hot to handle and he may then be released to be able to return to his mother. Print the post out and take it to your local feed merchants etc.

Response from owners this evening. How very sad.
I have some very upsetting news!! Cry Cry
Sadly this afternoon Chippy was found dead. He was dumped in a field not far, from where he was stolen from his Dam. We are totally devastated by what has happened, very angry too. To think someone stole him maybe for a pet we don't know, and suppose we will never know. If they couldn't get him to feed why didn't they return to the field not leave him to die. "DISGUSTING" Just two weeks old, what a waste Bast**ds, i would love to find out who's done this. Angry Angry

Like everyone else, I feel sick to my stomach at what has happened. I am also now feeling v. nervous as we have foals in our fields, and of course, we are as vulnerable as anyone else to theft. Since our village policeman retired and the powers that be have decided we will not have a village bobby anymore, we are, as a village, open to "attack" from whatever. Neighbourhood and Horsewatch are very good ideas, but do not really seem to have any powers to help prevent the sort of thing that has happened in the case of the stolen foal.
