I have nearly been banned from another forum, did it myself before they did it's about Satuday's show at the racecourse. People saying the show was poorly supported. Now I thought this a little unfair.
So I said as a joke (my fault) were they spying on us behind the bushes at the show. It was taken completely the other way and I was rude in making the comment.
Guess that put me in my place.

I read it too Tessa, there could be two ways of looking at it, I suppose it all depends on how well people know you

It was just a bit of fun - they have over reacted in my book. I had such exciting news over the weekend don't know what to do with myself.

Actually, I DID think the show could have been better supported. However, that is no-ones fault, think it was a combination of Badminton being on and lots of other shows the same day or day after. Tbh we were goining to go to Crealy on the Sunday, untill I realised the SWPA show was at Taunton and MUCH closer. I too read the tread and found nothing wrong with it. but hey, someone obviouosly did............ We had a great day anyway, I am not into the whole arguments about who did what and who didn't, we are just there for the showing!

The Crealy welsh show was poorly attended. Think there were alot of shows on the same weekend where this weekend there is not much on.

Richard and I had actually talked about the same thing - too many shows in this weekend. I judged at Badgworth on Sunday and Hunterswood was on Sunday, that is another SWPA show.
It was a new venue and on Saturday rather than Sunday as usual. My thoughts were where were all these people who were shouting for NPS classes last year? They did not come and support those classes - the people who did were all dedicated long term NPS members and SWPA regulars. I think some may have been put off by believing that they were going to have vacinations checked.
So long as we covered costs - it will grow next year as several people offered to help set up and we in turn agreed to do workers as well next year.

I opted for my daughter to do the P(UK) classes even though we won't be going to the finals, but only because she has already qualified for the NPS Junior ridden and because the pony is an underheight section D ,I thought there was no point in entering the Picton class. I wish I had as no one else had entered and she would have picked up her ticket. Never mind....... always another day.
Workers next year would be FAB!

Even when we did Pictons two years ago they were never well supported - that's one of the reasons why we dropped NPS classes. Last year all these people were saying they wanted NPS classes back - then they do not support them. It has been publicised via the NPS network all year that we were running the classes so there are no excuses for non-attendance.
Bet there will still be a full class at the finals though!

Well Medwin and this forum will be the first to know. Hopefully (with details to be sorted out) we will be having a bay foal filly half sister to Ming (blue roan and white). To me that is exciting will keep you all posted.
