its not too big it looks like someone has stabbed him with a pencil nib. its bout half centimeter deep.we have been putting intracit in it as we had some left from when ollie slashed his face open to the bone.

Oh, my 'B' mare got kicked at the top of her left hind leg, when she was trying to keep her friend and the stallion away from each other, just by the stifle. Luckely it didn't do any muscle or nerve damage, but it was a big cut (about 2 inches wide and 1 inch high). She got injections every night and we washed the wound out with salt water and put aloe vera gel in it and it's now healed but the lump is still going down. But as he's a stallion, so the injections could damage him, but talk to your vet if it hasn't healed already. I know this post is old, lol.

i have found aloe vera gel is great for hair regrowth, but abit on twice aday should do the trick

thanks everyone his wound has now healed and he is nearly bk to normal lol we have been using some hoof stuff that equinim lent us and it has done wonders. lets hope he learns that if the feet come up leave her alone lol.

We use cut + heal, it is in a blue spray can with yellow writing, will find out the make if you wish? it is wonderful for wounds of any sort.
