i clipped freddie friday because he aint showing again this winter, when i got to underneeth his belly i found a huge lump about 5 inches wide and drops down about an inch or so... also swelling on that side to his sheath. vet came out i wasnt there cause of work so my friend was there and he gave me some aunti imflamatories to give him which today was his last day on them and still no better the swelling round the sheath has gone down but lump is still there.. so dom rang me and we were talking and he said hes treated it like a bite, but if it was a bite he ALWAYS gets a reaction and get little lumps everywhere around where he was bitten, but no little lumps. also i dont know how long he has had the lump but 3weeks ago he started to play up and get really strong out riding the lump itsnt anywhere near the girth but i wonder if that has something to do with it, becuase he has got very head strong ive had to go back to a pelham. so going to ring to get the vet out again and see what happens.

Could it be a melanoma? My grey had several which were under his dock, in his sheath, under tummy, above his eye and on his shoulder!
Bless him! Greys are obviously prone to them. However, could be just a reaction.
