Well for once we had an almost pony free weekend as we were invited to a very posh Black Tie party to celebrate 25 years of our friends business. (They are also showing people!) We drove up to our old home in West Sussex with not much time to get ready and arrived just in time. We couldn't quite believe just how posh it actually was, the marquees were beautifully decorated and it was all set up like a celebrity bash. We were greeted by entertainers who were brilliant especially one who regularly works on the circuit as he really kept the party going for about the first 2 or 3 hours. The food was amazing and so beautifully presented and the sweets were out of this world including two chocolate fountains which I had to visit more than once! The drinks were free flowing and both times I asked for more champagne, I was given a bottle so I was well and truly merry (there are a few other words I could say!) After dinner we were treated to a performance from a QUEEN tribute band who were FAB and then on to a disco for the rest of the night. We were all treated like royalty and everybody made a big effort and looked amazing. There were loads of photos taken of everyone so I will post them when I get them. I did remember to breathe in for all of mine so hope they'll be ok! Even the portaloos were posh complete with designer soaps; and the weather stayed dry. I would like to say a big thankyou to our friends, you know who you are for a wonderful evening and all of the hard work that must have gone into organising it. We all felt like celebrities for a night, pity it had to end! lol Lucy xx
