at the last show at Exeter equestrian center when you are down the bottom with the horses we couldn't hear the lady on the loud speaker talking telling us which classes are when.
could you either turn it up, or maybe get someone to be at the bottom to call people ready.
as we weren't sure about when the arabs +4years were going in as we thought the lady was calling the class before us in...

The owners have a system for loudspeakers already in place and it operates within the building. Valerie brings her outside speakers, but when we put them down the bottom the people taking part in the classes down there complain about the speakers upsetting their ponies. Also some of the people who have stables do so because their onies are not necessarily happy being at the lorries and are safer within a stable. Putting loudspeakers right outside their doors tends to freek them out, so we put them up at the front of the building. Having said that there is a health & safety aspect to having any speakers outside as the wires are a H&S hazzard, so we may be told just to use what is already there. The joys of being a show secretary.
