Hey I went skiing and loved it! [and look how old I am!]
I was not any good at it and spent most of the time on my B** sliding down the slope, but just to visit another country is a wonderful experience and most europeans speak english anyway!

I reccommend Morzine / Avoriaz in France, by the Italian border. We used to go every year, until we were really busy with the ponies, and it's such a beautiful place and really good slopes. We don't have much trouble with the language thing, as there's usually someone who can understand you, lol.
