Do you think i will have to plait him up?

if entering part bred m and m he will need to be plaited. but if you enter traditional coloured he will need to be natural if you enter non native coloured he will need plaiting coloured cob class,s require a hogged mane and trimmed feathers. you will need to decide what you want to show him as. if he has a thin mane that isnt very full and sparce feathers it would be best to pull his mane and plait it then you can do partbred m and m and non native coloured. good luck

we were told by a judge that native(m and m) coloured need to be natural
non native coloured (ie not m and m class's)are plaited or pulled
i think i didnt write it clearly enough sorry. it still depends on what class's you want to concentrate on natural or plaited

we have always been told for p/b we had to plait. would you say to not plait for any partbred or just certain breeds Thats what I was disagreeing to!

For p/b M&M or Welsh, yes you do have to plait.

You show in PB classes as the your horses/Ponies TYPE so is a Native Coloured with Long mane and Tail you would show like this in Part Bred Classes.
The reason most are Plaited is due to the fact they are normaly SP/SHP/RH/Hunters.
