As above really - which show do you really look forward to each year?? My favorite show is the Summer SWPA one (as long as the sun shines) and non SWPA show is Spooners and West Dartmoor which did not run for a few years but was back on last year and has a lovely venue despite the awful weather - fingers xd for a nice day this year.

I don't get to go to many shows nowadays with so much SWPA work to do, but I do enjoy the Welsh show with the Welsh Medal classes. There is always such a nice atmosphere at that show and some very different people there.

Obviously SWPA shows for the friendly atmosphere but also NPS Champs and PUK as we are lucky enough to meet up with new and dear old friends and the wine is a flowin' ;D ;D ;D

Having been lucky enough to travel to most of the shows in this country i think no show compares to Royal Cornwall!! I have not yet competed at SWPA champs so cannot pass comment until later in the year. Other faves are Lincoln, Totnes, New Forest and our BSHA nat champs. Although i have been lucky enough to qualify for HOYS a few times i do not really enjoy competing there-much prefer to be a spectator!
The best show ever (its hilarious and such great fun) is the Royal Ulster at Balmoral in Ireland-its on at the same time as Devon County and we are there showing cattle again. Great fun, fab atmosphere and lovely to see such stunning young horses and be able to follow their career when they get sold to people over here!! Mind you their changing of the rein leaves a little to be desired!!!
Sorry for my ramblings.....
