Slightly confused. Just looked at pics of evening perf at Trinity Fest. Was of the understanding that Juniors were not allowed toppers in the Swpa??? Photo's show junior ridden class with toppers, what is the ruling for summer champs? Thanks. ;D

my daughter is 16 and wears a topper ,, i dont agree with l/r and first riddens wearing toppers tho.

georgia is 11 and wore one for the Amateur Champs but I know the pony, just wanted to clarify the rules. Just my luck if she qualifies and is then asked to leave the ring!

NPS is no top hats at all and i think you have to read the rules carefully as some have age limits on top hats. If in real dout ask the secretary of the show to clarify. IMO small children shouldnt wear a top hat due to safety

If you look at swpa rules,it ask for competitors when mounted to be wearing correct british standard headgear conforming to PAS015 or EN1384,with chinstraps from 3 points of the hat fastened. so from that i would say no top hats,childrens safety always a must at the end of the day.

Which is why was confused by evening perf pics that show juniors in toppers, Allthough I must say they look terrific, Oh Fashion!!
