Mrs Burt is of the Rotherdale stud, they breed Section D's mainly. Helen i think you might have her muddled with Mrs Powell who was supposed to judge Devon co, she breeds big sports horses.

Just wondering what her type inhand is??? Rotherdale cobs do well in hand and under saddle and personally I think they have beautiful heads and huge, expansive movement. Here is a quote from their own website: We try to breed a type of cob that is useful for a variety of jobs as well as looking beautiful. We like a long-striding, free action which covers a lot of ground, and coupled with this we try to achieve a height range of 14.2 hh to 15.0 hh.
Many Rotherdale cobs are being ridden and driven for pleasure, as well as succeeding in competition both at home and abroad.
