Thats not fair boo hoo!
She went to the clinic today and if it has not come by Monday she will be induced!
She has been down the field everyday this week trimming, washing etc, and is absolutely gutted as we will not let her go to Royal Cornwall on Friday and Welsh Show Sunday, although Sunday we are actually closer to the Bristol Maternity hospital than we are at home! I may re-think this one!

I think at the end of this we might be able to put a book together on suggestions to induce childbirth!
She lives in a ground floor flat Nikki so that ones out!, but it is near a supermarket so I will tell her about the raspberry leaf tea - I remember giving raspberry leaves to the mares before they used to foal down!

We have a homeopathic vet for some things and she gave us raspberry leaf tablets to give to Lily for a month before she foaled and when the foal finally arrived it was an uneventful birth and she didn't tear. Used to give them to the dogs before they pupped and no problems there, either. You could always try raspberry liquor - you, Med not Steph!!!

June 7Well "grannie" is getting bored with this thread now - I had hoped to be writing for just a few days - and here we are two weeks later nearly. and she thought she would have been able to ride at Royal Cornwall Still no news, but she is going in Monday to be started off! So as it is the show tomorrow [so it is bound to kick off then!] I will let you all know as soon as it arrives now! Get your last minute predictions in as it could win you a free class. She was told we will phone you Monday morning but if there are a lot of babies being born they will not take her in until the backlog goes! [conveyor belt comes to mind!] Stephs read all your comments last night [she has no Internet connection at her flat - but why should you when mum can pay for it!] and was very touched to think so many were thinking of her and she says "thanks"
