I would like to enter the P(UK) Brineton Small Hunter class at the Welsh Show but not sure (even after reading the rules a million times ) if I need to be a member of P(UK) or have to get a "Ticket to Qualify" to be able to enter the class. Anyone help please

You can enter any PUK class but can't get the qualification unless you are a member.

The new rules are in the front of your schedule. It is a little confusing. It says a summer competition card must be obtained free of charge from PUK on application of for membership or you need a summer ticket to qualify which needs to be obtained before qualifying. Then the bit at the end seems to contradict that.

What happens this year, you enter class member or not,if you win,you are given the qualifiy card ,you then have 14days to join p.uk and send ten pounds towards your championship class and pay the remainder £19 when entering the champs. Hope that helps.

SWPA would not aim to have classes that were not open to all our members to able to enter. It is up to individuals to make sure they have the necessary paperwork to qualify for the nationals, and most nationals have their own websites for competitors to check their rules.
[just a general comment to direct people who might still be in doubt]
