Well after two weeks of no work (naughty me) and finally getting a saddle, i got on Jinty again Today. She has been sat on and lead around before, but only bareback and not for a wee while. First time she had stirrups down too. She didn't mind much and pretty much fell asleep lol. Though did have problems at the start trying to get her to take the bit, so she only had a headcollar on. Still mega proud though ;D

Little of her history, bought her in 2005 pretty much semi-wild and dopped up (did not know this at the time), few days after we bought her we discovered she had been doped due to her trying to attack us everytime we went near her. She hated people, got agressive when we went near her, ect. When we did catch her she used to tank off or rear up at people. She got alot better and we could stand and pat her, ect, she then hurt her leg and we had to keep her in for two weeks, not a easy task for a pony who was pretty much unhandled, got a headcollar on and rung the vet (god job she could hardly walk or we would have never got her in), she was so tired she just stood there let the vet do what he had to do, next day she acctually put her nose out to us as if to say hey you arent so bad after all, will shut up now. Now ive got the most chilled out relaxed little pony ever.lol

Try a little honey on the bit before you put it into her mouth. Works with youngsters sometimes. I have had wild ones come round once they injure themselves. They see you then as a helper not a foe!
