These vehicles seem to be similar to the ones I put a notice out at our Welsh show about, and in that instance it was about horse theft in the Chepstow region. This is clearly organised and national.
We found someone taking pictures at one of the gates of our fields at 6am about a month ago and worried ourselves to death. I do question what the police are doing - surely they can find these cars with so much information in their hands!

Hate to tell you all that the police are doing nothing at all except for booking people for no seat belts! Mine was nearly attacked so they closed the case!!!

More bad news - two horses stolen in Hutton (Weston-super-Mare) last night, the village where we keep Otto. No further news as yet, but will let you know as I hear. I feel like taking a tent and camping out there

I am just hoping that they are going to be reluctant to take ponies with freeze brands because they are easier to identify and exmoors aren't the most popular breed (except by those of us who love them).
I've been at work worrying all day and don't expect to sleep much tonight. Did contemplate taking him in tonight, but I reckon he is safer in his field, because he is a nightmare to catch outside.
We have CCTV and security as tight as you can get, but nothing is going to stop someone who is intent on taking them.
