Just interested in how they react to their first show - I do realise they're not all the same! But do you find that it's generally stunned into good behaviour, or totally over the top excitement?
Can't say I'm looking forward to taking the yearling anywhere, she isn't nasty, just typical welsh youngster ie has springs instead of feet!!

now at you mean .dieing to take my filly showing.cant as growing quick and has stivel problem.we practice alot but im sure the first day will b over welming.shes welsh x

everything we have taken for its first show behaves very well as bit overwelmed its the shows after that they start to get excited.

I agree - it is the second, third and fourth attempt that is trouble.

I hope my boy behaves we got a ex race horse to turn into a riding horse hes county standard stuff but im not looking forward to bringing him out for the first time as he will still be young (5 years old) :s
