We went to totness show yesterday not to mention getting soaking wet. My instructors daughter was riding a Hunter for a friend and she had entered to do the showjumping on her own horse. Anyway she got into the championship with the Hunter and it was going to clash with her showjumping so she wandered around the shwoground for 10 minutes trying to find me. When she found me she asked me to jump her horse of which i have never sat on before but me being me said yes as i love my showjumping. I had 5 minutes to get to know him and the course a few friends were having a laugh with me about it the must of found it amusing some how lol. We both did great tho getting a double clear and getting 4th not bad for only getting to know him for 5 minutes Jess xx

well done!!!
To be honest by the time you have sat on a horse for 5 mins you know if youi like it and will got on with it.
I tried a hunter at the RIHS last week, a really well known one thats won everywhere and i hated every minute of it!!! Cannot believe it has won HOYS with a ride like it gave. It finished 2nd there too but i still have no intention of buying it!!!!
Yet when i bought Lex i was on crutches, did half a school of walk, half of trot, half of canter (as i wasnt supposed to be riding) but knew straight away i had to have him!
