My horse is cursed!!! 1st of all, it rained EVERY single time i rode. then every show i wanted to go to, my lift either fell through or was cancelled Then my hay bale that i struggled to pay for is 75% rotten and then his saddle doesn't fit and is starting to give him sores which we think is the reason hes bucking and now owner wont put shoes on until his back in work which he won't be untill saddle is sorted which probably means were out of champs! great stuff! good vibes needed please

Not sure I can help as my horse has been lame since I went on holiday in May! Which caused us to miss every single Veteran class this year! Look on the bright side, things can hardly get worse, can they (except from no straw being cut!!!)? Anyway, sending you every happy vibe I can spare!

I do understand - my gang went off to Equifest and the holiday my hubby gives me is to stay behind and look after all the ponies they don't take ............................plus the three dogs .................and the cats ............and the fish in the ponds This year the two GELDINGS that have lived together for a while decided to become colts again and one chased the other into the rhyne. They only way out was a wade in the water for my friend Lyndia and a trip all around the yard to put him away. Then the only pony I can never catch ducks under a fence [grass always being greener - which it wasn't] and takes me two hours to seperate her and put her back where she belonged. Then one I can catch decides to copy the others antics and as he needs a special suppliment I spent another hour until he chose to give up and be caught for his daily feed. Then I needed to repair the fence where the colt had escaped and dropped the post hammer on my shoulder as my arms collapsed uder the weight. Then I remembered that I had turned on the taps to fill the field water buts, but they had overflowed and the buts were now in the middle of a huge, muddy puddle. Two huge cobs managed to coat me in a delicate shade of brown as they gallopped away. The stallion managed to give me a second coat as he was turned out in his muddy paddock. This coating was a little thicker and stickier. I get home and let the dogs out and one very small Jack Russel wraps his lead around my legs and makes a bolt for the back gate and deposited me flat on my back. [He did that once on the beach and I landed up face first in the mud and had to walk home. I dared my neighbour to not say a single word or laugh once on pain of death!] I will cut the grass thinks I - no way - I pour the petrol into the tank and it pours straight out of the side. Now I have to sit and watch the grass grow before my very eyes before that mower will get repaired. The phone call from those enjoying Equifest asked if I had had a quiet uneventful day! See I can sympathise!
