JUST spoken to Richard about this and this thread has been dormant for ages - how uncanny is that! Next Winter show in Feb will be Equifest, Royal London and PUK Winter qualifiers, and I think there might be a supreme of show with a cash prize [watch this space] Good Friday [Poltimore] will be PUK Summer qualifiers alongside Equifest and Royal London Trinity we have not finished planning yet BUT if we go outdoors it will be PUK, NPS, Equifest, Royal London and maybe some breed societies too! We are considering outdoor sites in the Wiltshire/Hampshire areas at the moment. Welsh will be Equifest, Royal London, PUK, NPS and Welsh Medal classes with qualifiers for the National Welsh show in Stafford. Summer [Lympsham] will be Equifest, Royal London, NPS, PUK, Shetland society, Exmoor society, Miniatures. Alongside all of those will be two new branch shows. One in Cornwall, one over Pembrokeshire way and we also hope to go down to Wiltshire/Hampshire with another similar type of branch show. What those shows run will be up to the organisers to manage, but we hope they will come under the SWPA umbrella and we are available to advise ............. so come on guys tell us what you want.............

How about Frome cheese showground, dont know how much that gets used throughout the season, It might be worth a go and has a main arena.

Thorney Island's a great idea, maybe worth looking to see if there's anything close to Wilts or further north? Simply because the Lionheart shows are held there and you might pull in more people if you go to a slightly different area?
will definitely support this show- let me know the details and I'll forward on to NPS/ local WPCAs

Thorney island sounds great but i have heard that there shows have been quite badly supported, but if swpa held one there i would definatley go.Wilts could still do with a look in though, will have a think about possible locations, there is Frome cheese showground ,wilts /somerset borders,........... a possibility ;D
