how does this class run, do you do the individual freestyle show while everyone else is in the ring as you would normally or go in individually??

Basically yes! There are a set series of movements that you are required to do within a limited amount of time [although no one times you!] Everyone comes in together and then are the initial go round you will be asked to do your individual show and to include the movements. You are marked on each movement completed and a mark given for conformation.
PS Please note the ruling for bits - PUK classes are VERY specific in which bits you need to be wearing

You need to look on the PUK website to familiarize yourself with PUK rules. www.poniesuk.org.ukAt this next show the class is not a PUK qualifier and the only bitting rule you need to remember under SWPA rules is that we do not class a Wilkie as a snaffle and therefore it cannot be used in classes described as Novice, Lead rein or First Ridden. This would not apply to competition horse or pony. When we run qualifiers for other associations THEIR rules will always over-ride ours and it is up to competitors to familiarize themselves with the rules of the classes they are entering. In most cases the rules of any association are available through an their website, but it would not be realistic for any individual show to reproduce the rule books of every association for whom they are running qualifiers. Some of our shows have 5/7 affiliations! We are obliged by societies to word the classes as they tell us to. We cannot add or delete the wording in any way or we would not be awarded the qualification. All schedules have to be sent in for approval before any cards are forwarded to the secretary's.
