OK people, you heard Med.Fingers need to be pulled out if we are ever going to get this party. So first of all we need to see who would like to come and where you live so we can arrange for a central location. Along the M4 corridor seams a sensible option to me
I think its already been decided that January is a good month to hold it.
So people, add to this thread very simply if you would like to come and where you are excatley from.
NUMBERS AND LOCATIONS WILL BE COUNTED 1ST DEC SO GET THEM IN
I'll start.
Megan & Mo rogers. Carmarthenshire, South Wales

so if that is the case with every one being there for this party then is that the best time to hold an AGM seen as all the committie will be there then we can see what is really going on with the money that every one puts in for the shows each year. like you say it has been 18 months now since the last AGM roughtly the same amount of time when they went bankrupt. dont you think it seams a little mad that the dates tie in. i'm a buussnes man and know how books should be done, you cant pull the wool over my eyes on this one.
time to start giving anwsers.

to be quiet honest (and i am sure i speak for quiet a few people when i say this) I really do not care if SWPA have an AGM or not. From the shows i have been to this year,i can happily say my £20 membership is well worth it and I trust Medwin and co to use the money to wisely as every show i have been to has been excatley what i am looking for and a great place to be.
Infact our annual holiday is the championships!
Now if you don't mind, this thread was created to organise a party (which was my idea as i wanted to meet the people under the hats) so please keep posts regarding the AGM on the AGM thread as i for one have heard enough regarding it!

If your a BUSINESS man it SEEMS a big shame that you cant spell!! Isnt it funny its always the new ones that have to start stirring again. You have all been told there will be an agm at some point. Id like to know how you think ALL this money is made im sure you cant be that thick, it does cost to run a show you know, having run a small show myself last year i know it costs an arm and a leg and i didnt have to pay for a venue as such, so i would say its MEMBERS money that runs these shows isnt that why we all joined in the first place?? And if there is something left over then why shouldnt the organisers have it for all the s**t they put up with at shows and on here.

you say your not bothered but i'm not happy with where my £20 goes and not to see at the end of each year a total of the years earning. may be you have all heard enough of it because you have the wool over your eyes to much and can not see what is going on and the truth behind it all. if you read this and all you can do is say about spelling then its a shame you cant look further and see that there is more to it than meets the eye.
