I had a lovely surprise yesterday - I'd won a competition in the Horse and Hound Magazine - a copy of 'Gone Hunting'.
Anyone else won anything 'horsey'

we won at the hoys last yr, we entered a comp at a stand and won a derby house n/z rug and a fleece rug and a h/coller and l/rope. was a really nice surprise as it had gone wrong at the hoys as we had lost a ticket and had a hassle waiting in the coach park asking if anyone had a spare they did and we got in.

I won a rug from a horsey internet site when I advertised my lorry (can't remember which one now) but it never ever arrived and they ignored all the emails and telephone calls - gave up in the end

The only things I have ever won are usually in raffles I have run - so I feel guilty and put the prize back!

think positive denwyn. the more you enter the bigger chance you will win.

Well, I would never have believed it but back in 2005, when I had my loan Arab, (bless him) I entered a comp called Studmuffins, and they were asking for a pic of the horse, and if featured as horseof month they would send a prize, well I forgot all about it till I got an email a week ago to say that The rabbit had been picked ;D, we got 4 tubs of studmuffin biccys, they smell like xmas cake and were worth about £36. I was delighted, just a shame I could share them with the Rabbit, but he went back to original home
