I have brought an MP3 player for a friend of mine for xmas. Problem is i want to preload it with songs for that personal touch. She likes the old songs (you know...the ones that people over 30 know ) and the new ones so seeing as we have a huge and varsly (?) diverse group here, which ones would you love to hear and which ones would you avoid like the plague?

Duffy's CD is good - new songs that sound like old, best of both tastes! Also, Gabriella Cilmi's is lovely. Amy Winehouse is my favourite - but you have to not mind the odd bit of bad language!!

Nay - they are all rubbish - give me Frank Sinatra any day.
Actually I am only joking into Take That at the moment!
Abba is always good for a singalong
