There is area 25 summer show which has an olympia and a hoys workers. sadly i think your going to have to spead your wings and also go to area 29 and 24 for Olympias and swansea for a hoys its not really spead evenly throughout the country we are at disadvantage

Royal Cornwall are HOYS qualifiers. Swansea isnt being held in 2009, so not sure where those qualifiers will be allocated. Its a real pain to be living down here if you do want to chase ther qualifiers, out nearest cob one is Wincanton, a nearly 3 hour drive for us with the lorry!
I know BSPS 13b have RIHS qualifiers for M and M's, i think that may well be in march/april time at Chiverton normally i think. Ivybridge used to (first sat of may) but not sure if they do now.

Its such a pain living down here, we certainly are at a disadvantage and really do need more qualifiers! Cobbledegook - 3 hours to get to your closest cobs qualifier!! cant believe it!! as Stumps said they are not very evenly spread out thanks everybody, great help!!!! i will write these in my diary right now! and will check up and see which ones would be best. do you know if there are any websites with lists of qualifiers on for HOYS RIHS and Olympia?many thanks

BSPS 13A is the first one we do at Chiverton in March/April but I think BSPS 9B is the very first one for RIHS, early March and BSPS 13B and now Ivybridge hold a qualifier in May. Royal Cornwall for HOYS in June and Swansea (although as Cobbledegook says not for 2009) or Monmouth is one of the last qualifiers. NPS area 25 (Somerset) 24 (Hampshire) and 29 for Olympias although they do have one at the Champs which is a better run for us than Hampshire! PUK South was also a good run in less than 4 hours but it was the farthest one we did for a one-day show and I think we stayed even then. Hope that helps but as you say not so good and not that well spread out in the South-West!

New forest & hants is LR & FR qualifier for hoys.If you look on bsps website you can pull up last years list of qualifiers so this may give you a rough guide as to what may be on this season and where. Could help, to plan the diaries.
