I would go for clear, any knocks on those white legs with black hoof oil would show up too much. I would also suggest . . . . when the time comes, if you are buying a noseband, go for as wide as you can get away with to brake the white up on his face

again thanks.. am going for a 2 inch noseband, he is full in size... hes a big lad. legs wise, hes legs are totally clean. but yes black on checnut/white would look daft.
i am deffinatley at the show along with a friend, whos bringing her coloured, if anybody wants to come and say hi please do. i will be the short arse with a huge horse! or if parked we have a red new shape discovery and red trailer..... any tips or comments are very welcomed. and if the boy does do any good, i will become a member, and do more showing, with the hope of progressing to ridden as he comes on.

Somebody explain this grading lark to me? What do you have to do, what type do they need to be?
We have a 2 y.o. TBxArab coloured colt. He's very quite, so it's tempting not to geld him yet - too thick as yet to bother the mares.
