This pony is an out and out tiny tots lead rein schoolmistress, she is a real saint and will look after the most tiniest of jockeys. We have owned her since before my daughter could walk and she attended her 1st show at just 2 years old. I actually bought her from a friend when her daughter had outgrown her as I knew this was the pony that I would be looking for in years to come.
This little darling is a 13 year old registered grey Welsh A and measures 111.8 cm and has a real cute factor with a dinky jockey on board. She has enough quality to compete and be placed at county level which she has done with us and has also attended pony club rallies and been the love of my daughter's life.
She goes off the lead in a very steady manner and would never even think of jogging off with a child on board. My daughter rides her off the lead at home and for her pony club rallies which includes popping little fences (although I run along beside just in case we lose steering) She has done one first year first ridden class with a borrowed jockey and won the class, although she found the cantering far too much hard work, she doesn't even bother cantering about in the field.
She is exactly what I say she is and she is only for sale due to the fact that I need the same pony but measuring 122cm for my daughter who is quite a tall 5 year old.
My daughter now understands that she needs to let her best friend go to a new little person to teach to ride so all interested parties will be vetted by my daughter for suitability
She is living out at the moment with a decent rug, she has never needed shoes and has never been sick or sorry in the 6 years I have known her, she needs no working in what so ever before going in a class and she can be left for weeks without being ridden and be the same as if she was ridden daily. She is the ultimate wash and go pony.
I have to admit this is the easiest pony we have ever owned, but to sell her is the hardest decision we have ever had to make.
So what sort of price do you put on your child's safety or on your peace of mind?
We will be open to offers in the region of £2750 from the right home as this is a very sad sale and has not come easy on any of the family including grandparents and especially my daughter.
Please PM me if you would like any further info or pictures.
