hi, i am desperate to get into the world of ridden showing and i can't get very far with my current horse (well she's my grandads but still...). what is the cheapest way to get a good 14.2 show pony? i don't mind really old ones or quite young ones, they just have to be £3000 or under, and no vices or bad behaviour. i know i am asking for the earth, but some people have a lovely pony they have grown out of but don't want to sell, or an old one that they don't want because they don't have time for it, or a young one they don't want because they don't have time for it........ any suggestions appreciatated!

Have you thought about loaning? If this was an option, you could put a "wanted / to loan" on this forum or try www.horsequest.co.uk.
