Unfortunately I am selling my stunning Boy
I have only had him since November, however my circumstances have changed and I am no longer going to ride and I am returning to driving! (looking for a show quality standard shetland)!
He is fully registered, 15.2hh 8yo Welsh section D 8yr Dark Bay gelding. He is the old fashion chunky type not a modern skinny version!
He hacks alone and in company. He prefers to be with company on main roads. He is not naughty, just a little lacking in confidence that will come with more mileage! He had not done much before I bought him, except for hacking through bridleways in wales with every member of the family!!!
He is forward going and off the leg. He is good to clip, shoe etc. Has been jumping small jumps with me and has freeschooled over 2ft 6" with ease, he is bold and loves it, by I’m not up for jumping any more.
He has no Vices.
He is very loving but will take a while to settle in. He does load in a trailer but when I bought him he had not travelled anywhere! - I have just started to practice loading and after a short period he will load on his own and stand waiting to be tied up. Not tried a lorry.
He is schooling nicely and is light in the had and never strong.
He would do anything, show, hunt, riding club etc.
I do believe that it is still settling with me and as he had never left the farm before I bought him.
The only naughty thing he does at the moment he sometimes pulls back when tied up if he is unsure, but it’s not all the time. I have remained in contact with is old owners and they assure me that he will settle and never pulled back before so, he will need time to bond with his new owner.
He was with the previous owners since he was 6 months old and never went anywhere!
He has a loving temperament and wants to please an get on and do things.
He is fully clipped and in great shape.
He would come with his quality tack and rugs – Albion bridle, Derby House Samber Working hunter saddle (6mths old), a Rambo duo rug with two different weight liners and a mark todd fly rug.
£3,250 ovno including tack ono
Lots of pictures and video available via email.
Thanks
Shelley.
