Well after 4 lovely years with my horses living with Helen at Cherrytopstud we have now been lucky enough to find a nice yard to rent about 15mins from home and after much soul searching have decided to have horses back and look after them ourselves - I am really missing having Tigs around and miss being able to ride as once a week is painful with a dodgy hip and knee. Barry fell in love with Lidgett Black Orchid so she is also making the move so too stroppy welsh mares to care for and a secret that arrives end of September so will be busy. We are also allowed a livery so if anyone fancies it give me a pm - will be nice to have someone to hack with sometimes and I can buy a permit to ride on 400 acres of private grounds as well. Helen is still going to ride the dun beast at shows for me and both Barry and I are very grateful for that as she has done so much with her in the time she has had her so we are looking forward to a winter of hard work and a slightly different 2008 season

Well done, not sure where you are (have been to Cherrytop though), would you like me to put up ad in shop, we are Animal Crackers in Moretonhampstead, or are we too far away?

Good for you Vanessa, it's nice to have 'Showing neighbours' even though you are 1/2 hour away. We'll have to pop up and see you when you're settled and you're very welcome to come and see us. x

It's not ours, I'm afraid, she belongs to Gwen Mountjoy of the Knivers Stud. She was at Holsworthy on Thursday and won the Small Breeds youngstock class. She may be for sale if you're interested!
