could you give me a bit of info..
as in what sort of confo is required for the show ring, what type of classes you would put them in.,
does pattern/colour of spots make a difference?
ive sold my coloured lad and have my eye on a nice 3yr.

Conformation should be about 60% and performance 30% and marking only about 10%. Look at the mare and stallion - any grey colouration in the breeding? If there is then there is a strong chance they will loose their spots and fade out to grey.
Classes - coloured obviously and then you look at what type it would fall into. There is discrimination in terms of colour in showing particularly in classes like hunters where some of the more traditional judges prefer solid dark colours.
Hope this helps.

ive sold him because hes a hand full to jump, and hes schooling isnt progressing, he does doesnt enjoy it. and to be blunt hes not a county level horse. well not in my opinion.
also.. and forgive me if this is shallow. im in the process of setting up a business (sales livery bying and selling) and gizmo has been sold to the romana hunt in italy, it was also a good referance to have along with the arab thats gone to a gb team member endurance home.. i need ahead start and glowing testomonials in a tough business. LOL i can now put on my website international.. yay! (not the paper work involved in export has near killed me today!)
M.. hes mum was dun highland, dad a well spotted appy. hes spots are dun. i read about them greying out.
