As all of us know, we spend far too much on our horses and live pretty close to our limits financially. Thats certainly true for me and I found out today my livery yard is putting up their prices. So, I have made the very painful decision to part with some if noy all my boys. All are registered with rhe stud book society, the british spotted pony association and IMHPS. All are qualified for the SWPA champs '09 in 2 championships each. At last years champs my spotted got spotted champion and res. ch. mini horse. The shetlands consist of 2x yearling colts. Palomino and golden dun. 9 year old skewbald stallion registered with IMHPS. Photos and breeding can be forwarded via email. I may consider loaning to right home but it must be long term. Thanks for looking, A very sad Helen

Hi Helen, my daughter is currently showing some interest in getting a mini to show in hand. My ability to act on this will entirely depend on what MY livery yard owner will charge me to keep one, but in the meantime, could you please forward some photos to helle.andrews@inbox.com. Thanks

Hi all, Can I make it quite clear that it is not due to the livery prices going up that has forced me to cut back. I wrote that wirhout thinking when in a down moment. It is purely my own financial constraints being the reason. In actual fact, i think we are lucky enough to have one of the cheapest livery yards in this area. So I would like to publicly apologise to Claire if I gave that impression. It was not my intention, I just worded things wrongly. Helen

We all say things we don't actually mean in moments when things are not going right and money is definately the biggest "downer". I am sure over the past three years I have said things in haste, and that I did not really mean, and that was all financial. Trouble is we usually say it to people we care about or are comfortable with. My hubby has been on the wrong end of my tongue many times.
PS I have also said a great deal that I really did mean just in case anyone gets the wrong idea and thinks I have been talking gibberish for the last three years!

Sorry to hear your selling your miniatures. I have sold Liberty my chestnut mare recently and bought two filly foals both skewbald.
