Oh Gemma sorry to hear of your accident. Such a shame you have to miss all your ridden Qualifiers. I am sure your Mum will do a good job of showing the boys in hand. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery

oh no that gutting i am sorry to hear this, hope you reccover quickly and wont be too long before your back in the saddle... how long have they said your going to have to have the cast on for?

Went to get my perminant cast on today but found that the nurses who plastered me up when i went into A&E on sat nite had plastered my ankle up wonky!!!!! typical!!!
Anyway i now have a nicer cast on and it stops at my ankle so can use my foot abit now and have been told that i will hopefully only need my cast on for 2 WEEKS! ;D then i wil go into a knee brace to get it moving again so it should be fixed in 6 weeks hopefully and im counting my blessings its nothing too serious and is a huge relief

If it helps, i broke my ankle in three places from one side to the other, needed a plate and five pins one side and two pins the other but was back riding again in 2 months. Keep smiling x.
