well in feb freddie tore his tendon 40% after 3weeks in all swelling and heat has gone down and sound as a pound. so hes been out in the feild and nothing done with him, still no problems with tendon even tho today lightly hot (running round in new feild) but hes sound.
his tendon is slightly larger then the other hardly noticable unless you look closely. just wondering if i do show him lightly if judges would put him down cause of it?

I think from another post I read if it is the same horse is he a veteran? My veteran broke down completely and had a year off and came back and did a few shows. At only one did the judge mention it and put him down because of it -I think he went champion at a show as well after this injury and definitely qualified SWPA and Veteran Horse & Pony Club. By trimming his bad tendon quite close and leaving the other leg hair longer the two legs looked more or less similar. I think it will depend on the class, the judge and the show.

Doh, took the old one out yesterday and the judge did put him down the line because of his tendon - but on the bright side we got some lovely photos of him and it was just nice to have reason to tart him up.
