Apologies in advance from the showing virgin Horse questions: 1. How many bags of shavings do you take? (12h pony) 2. Do you leave it all behind afterwards? (mucked out of course) 3. Do you have to take mucking out equipment? (bucket and gloves - surely not wheelbarrows?) 4. Do you have to store hay etc in your trailer - is it miles away? 5. When you get there - how do you know which stable to use? Human questions: 1. Where do non horesbox peeps stay (trailer or camp?) 2. Can one camp? 3. Will the restaurants be open? Sorry these probably seem like ridiculous questions to you but I hate to be unprepared!

Ok most of this i leave to my dad as i just deal with the horses but i can answer one or two questions . 1) You should only need 1 bag of shavings as stables already have them in (well we only have one bag and my horse is 15.2HH!!!) 2) Yes leave used shavings behind well we do ready for the next person . 3) Yes you have to take mucking out equiptment bucket and gloves are perfectly fine. 4) Yes you store your hay etc. Question 5 for the horsey questions my dad deals with that one :S sorry. Human Questions 1) you stay on the main field with eveone else you can have a tent/trailer or lorry stay in any. 2) Yes you can camp thats what its all about hehe 3) No idea as we bring our own food but one thing i can assure you, you will have a fun and enjoyable weekend !!!! Hope it helps Jessie x

Answer to question 5 : When you turn up, you need to make your way to the secretary's office where you can collect your number plus find out which stable has been allocated to you. All the stables have numbers so easy to find.

Would recommend pre-ordering shavings if you do need them, can do this on entry form.

Thanks guys - really appreciate the help. Hoping a friend is coming with me or I'll be on my own with a 5 year old! If the weather is grim then I'll leave her behind as I don't think I can cope with a wet child in tent. If my friend doesn't come then I'll be the one banging on horsebox doors with a bottle of booze under one arm (or both) begging all to be "norman no mates" friend!

Daughter Charise - now back from New Zealand - says she will be your friend especially with a bottle of wine under your arm. [but then I do remember her zonked out on the grass about 12 midnight last year having completed missed her tent and given up trying to find it. Since it was next to the SWPA HUGE white marquee that tells you something about her state] ;D ;D

Medwin - 1. How close can we get to the electric hook up points, wondering if my lead is long enough to reach? 2. Will there be a ride judge for class R9? Thank you.

Don't know about a ride judge as yet. I am at work so don't have a schedule handy, but if it is Russell Marks then he may/may not ride as he is due to have an op on his hand and until the date we won't know. Will talk to Richard tonight about it. Electric hook ups - well last year we fenced off the area for the hookups and then people went and parked in there and refused to move! You could get away with a short one, but best to be safe. We ask for so many [whatever is ordered] to be switched on and then fence off the area BUT there is not enough of us to stand guard on that area.
