Our 17 year old Welsh Pony mare, Oldacres Dairymaid, was covered by 1 stallion twice and was scanned both times and she wasn't in-foal then a younger stallion was used and we had her scanned again and she's not in-foal again. The odd thing is that everything's right for her, appart from she doesn't hold. She comes in season with no problem, is covered and then she misses her next season and it appears she's in-foal, then soon after she's scanned and is not in foal, so we'll probably send her to Newmarket and see if they can find out why she's not holding and sort out the problem before next year. Now... if we find out she can't have a foal or whatever, we want to try a transfer, but one of our friends thought that the WPCS don't allow transfers? Is this true?
