Before we go any further and especially before approaching SWPA there have been enquiries asking why the Working Hunter class has now been included as many ponies could go into both sections. I like, you am, aware that the entries in the WH classes have declined yet everybody seems to want them Do you think it would be addition to the day? Your comments would be appreciated and this thread will remain open until Friday at which time we will review the feedback Thank you

Brill idea, as I said on Horse Gossip, as the fences will be already there, so not a lot of extra work.

Would be interested in a WH class, but not sure if this level would be to ambitious at present with novice pony in her first year of competing as a whp.

Please do not worry, the level of th WH class will be appropriate to age and size of pony as with any WH class. The difference, we hope, will be that all Competitors will enjoy the experience and hopefully win some cash prizes at the end of the day - whilst attending Competitor Receptions, meeting and greeting Sponsors, meeting friends old and new and joining in with the live Singer - oh and prepare the pony, compete, keep an eye on the time, etc., etc., - please do join in with the GwynBeth day and hopefully the rest of the showing weekend.

The worker ring last year had moved to the bottom grass arena and was very hard unlike the one in the bigger arena. Are the ground likely to be watered if the sun continues? Many thanks .

Yes i remember there being a few problems with the ring especially in the morning as it became slippery. We would try our very best to ensure the going was good.

I have heard that due to space and logistical limitation at the ShowGround we will not be able to run a Working Hunter Section in the GwynBeth2010. SWPA have tried to accommodate but the GwynBeth 2010 in its original format has to take priorty especially with regard to timings. We would like to thank SWPA for their efforts and we will look at this class for any future GwynBeths.
