Mr Robert Parker-Jones and Mr Christopher Littlwood are meeting with us for Sunday Tea at Waunarw Livery..........who will bake the cake??? We are so looking forward to seeing them when we will make our first presentation of how the GwynBeth day will run. Following our meeting with SWPA which will be in early March, we will then have a meeting with all the Judges so they are aware of the timetable, classes, Receptions and the ethos for the day. If you have any ideas or comments please do add them here or PM - we know improvements can always be made and once again, this year, we have tried to iron out any hic-cups from last year.

The Tea went ahead as planned even though our Guests were missing presumed lost in the Caldicot, Magor, Newport area for some time - no Sat Nav switched on and then, out the clear blue sky, they appeared. Waunarw Livery is some 5 minutes from Junction23A off the M4 and the drive takes most of the time, so you can see cars from some distance, but they had taken the wrong turning and were heading for Newport so it took time to get them back on the right track!!!!! Both were in top form and supportive of the GwynBeth and are looking forward to meeting and greeting all on the day. May I please take this opportunity to reiterate that the GwynBeth is designed to give all Competitors an enjoyable day and experience with the chance of winning Cash Prizes. Amateur is a descriptive word and does imply a less standard than that of the Producer, so Amateurs can and do win.

In answer to a question: In keeping with past GwynBeth events - Phase 3 is Evening/Championship dress with Judges and Competitors dressing accordingly. Please do ask if you are unsure or maybe do not have what you consider to be appropriate for the evening. I am sure we may well be able to help you.
