i have been having trouble trying to find a fly rug in a size 5'4" as they all seem to jump from a 5'3" straight to a 5'6" anyone have any ideas as have tried all the usual robinsons, derbyhouse etc etc....

I doubt you will find a 5'4" rug off the shelf from anywhere. It is not a standard size. All rugs go up in size by 3" for example; 5'0, 5'3, 5'6, 5'9 to 6'0. The only thing I can suggest is if someone was to make one for you.
Unless you mean 54" and then that would translate to a 4'6" rug...quite a small size. However, I have definitely seen 4'6" fly rugs advertised.

ive got an old 5ft 6 which is small, its a masta one, you can have that freddie didnt like it been in a box iin the garage for over a year...

thought as much, stupid manufacturers - my youngster doesnt grow 3" at a time lol. they are either hanging round his hocks or dont cover his tale which is kinda missing the point of a fly rug. suneagle, where abouts r u? will buy off u if u r nearby - thanx

I know!! See how you get on with suneagles fly rug and if it's no good I have a couple and my boy is a 5'3 - 5'6. I am in Plymouth. xx
