Just to let you all know there are excellent pre-entries - except for the NPS M&M classes! Where are you all guys? I get phone calls asking me if we are running Pictons etc - then no one enters!!!! New for 2011 are the Olympis veteran classes - good entries except for the over 25 age bracket. Good weather predicted and just a final reminder - CASH ONLY ON SHOW DAYS UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT!

I can relate to the no lorry Roz - we did not have one last year and were lost not able to show.
Hope you get mobile soon and if you want a little taste of a show you could always come and steward!

Sorry you are a little too far for me, but at least you have overseas competitors coming!! Good luck to the Guernsey Girls who are flying the flag for the shetlands with a vengeance. They deserve a lot of support considering the miles they travel and the cost of crossing the sea from the Channel Islands every time they want to come to a show over here. Say hello when you see them!!

Brilliant show - excellent pre-entries and so many turning up on the day. Thanks to all those who stewarded during the day - you are all valued and appreciated very much.
Yes, it was great to see the "Guernsey girls" and although they had a horrid journey up from Weymouth docks they arrived in time to have a short sleep the night before. Great to see you both.
For me the best was to see so many ponies coming back to showing as either veterans or just with new owners. Samber Sarson was there - a pony my daughter rode as a stallion when she was pre-teenage [married with a child and in her mid twenties now] - and he looked fabulous. And Wyedean Aaron still the cheeky chap he has always been, and Wildhill Marigold - it was great to see them all looking so well and fit.
Overall a very busy day and a brilliant show - thanks for supporting us.

Thank you all for a lovely day. I had such a good group of Competitors all day and some very nice ponies and horses. To the young lady who was upset because her section B was not moving freely, I hope he is improving and you are a very nice, caring person and the young person on the coloured first ridden - a well done for being so confident in your pony and joining the "big Boys". Thank yo Medwin, Richard and family.
