:)Right just going to pick your brains here. Have not had a welsh C before and was wondering which make of saddles fits them best. She is very wide and short in the back with a deep girth. Anybody fitted a C before please help

Made to measure is best - Flyde saddlery and SOS (Cornwall) are the ones we've used for our section C.

Deb, I have an Oakfield 'Amy' which is 9" from D to D and 6" gullet; I'm selling it on Ebay at the mo, think it may fit! Take a look- paid £480 for it last summer, it did fit Starstorm, but doesn't now!
If I don't sell it you are welcome to try it.

Had one for Titch from there but find their range not as good as some native pony places. Cayberry sounds like a good offer if you don't sell on ebay.

Saddles - well i have had problems witha lot of the major saddle fitters that just want to sell you saddles at any cost it seems. After a lot of money and arguments and badly itting saddles, i found a very lovely saddle fitter that was recommended to me. She has made a saddle for my D stallion and its perfect and not a silly price either. If any one would like her number PM and i will pass on details.
