Here is the history of Dymonds Stud, my parents have been in horses since the mid 1950's. My mother founded the Dymonds stud in 1973. She had welsh A's and B's she had noticeable success winning the welsh section B yearling class 1978 with Dymonds Garlanda at Devon County Show. My parents give up breeding ponies 1992 due to their poor health. But I had a small team of Dartmoor ponies from 1979-1995 I bred a couple of good fillies and a part bred Dartmoor all under Dymonds stud name. I had a team of shetland miniature geldings for a couple of years for long reining classes which were great fun. But since 2004 I started to get a small stud of shetland miniature ponies with my mother. I have now got a good team of ponies things are coming together finally now. It certainly take's time we have a good show record with the ponies.
