Lmao and what do i do about "WHAT a wee girl judging our class?!" Hoping to purely do pony classes, but i have a feeling some mothers will say "oh my kid is nearly older than the judge"

lol how funny @ "oh my kid is nearly older than the judge" The wpcs have a young judges panel! Be sure to be in charge of the ring, people will try it on - and make sure you can answer people's questions - The 2 main ones I get is: why have I been placed here and do you have any tips?? the two thing that annoy me most are, is the answer 'Well some one had to be placed 4th etc etc and giving out wrong advice like us showing a welsh mare in a halter and the judge saying it should be in a inhand bridle etc keep a copy of the schedule on you and make sure you read exactly what your judging and is it a qualifer for anything etc
Good luck, judging is had work but very rewarding!

Its an RC show, have been told there will be lots of mixed breed/unkown type hairy ponies and lots of wrong turnout. I know im judging the dreaded registered OR unregistered M+M type *hides* That could be anything from a welshie to a 16hh coloured cob lol. I wish they'd split it,lol.

Always remember to carry a pair of glasses so that if anyone says you need them, you can put them on. I find it works wonders! HEEE HEEE!

hehe! always be conferdant in your desisions, dont let ANYONE take the piss with you or awnser back as you are not there to take abuseive talk!, its YOUR dision at the end of the day, dont worry about what people think your going to be talked about anyways if its good or bad! when i last judged in one class i placed an arab 1st, everyone was like "it only won becuase she shows an arab" but then in the championship i didnt look at it and placed a coloured and a welsh cob! hehe!.
i also keep an eye on the line up, i am strict on manners and thats was can get a 2nd placed into 1st! and dont be afraid to send a horse out who is dangerious to YOU, RIDER/HANDLER or OTHERS or a horse who is lame.
