Thanks for asking Medwin. She has made an improvement and the vet is happy as her breathing has gone back to normal which indicates her pain is easing. He said it would be about 4 weeks until she has shoes on. He also said if we do everything right she should make it to the champs!!! ;D Might be a bit out of practice then!!! It would make my year if we can still make to the champs as we both enjoyed it soooooooooooo much last year! The farrier said normally the pain is an incj infront of the frog but Titchs is on the white line which is a little unusual. We have been walking her round the sand school and she is responding well to this as it seems to ease her up a bit. Today was the first time she has walked out the stable without having to be made to walk ;D I hope she now makes steady progress . The vet is back in 2 weeks now unless there are any changes. He 's now been out 4 times and we had a second opinion off another vet and the farrier has been out. So as you can see she is VERY important to me and i wish i could take the pain for her I would do anything to make her better. Oh well will just keep doing what we are doing. Mum has been great though and she is excellent at looking after the ponies. I am lucky to have her to help

Poor Titch, sounds like she is feeling a bit better now shes moving though.
Had someone come into the shop today, they have a small native type with laminitis and, feeling sorry for him being stabled, wanted to buy a likit treat to keep him happy! And the first ingredient - glucose! And in case you're wondering - no , I didn't sell it to her, she went away empty handed!

It would be great to be able to go to the champs as that is our little break and after last year i was really looking forward to them again. She is still improving a little day by day and has lost a bit of weight ;D Will really miss not coming to the summer show

Titch has made another big improvement today!!! Walking is nearly back to normal and she doesn't mind all feet being picked up now! Fingers crossed but she seems to be improving visibely each day. Think the vet will be coming out next tuesday. Maybe all the tlc , nettles , massaging and food control is helping. This morning she was bright as a button. Last night she even went and opened her door and wanted to come out. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to riding again.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
