Crossing all fingers and toes, laminitis is horrible my boy had it slightly last year and he's half TB, so i know what it's like having to put a muzzle on and restrict grazing not good, thinking of you -X-

So sorry for you, the grass has gone mad this year with all this rain and I've heard from my farrier that it's been the worst year he's known for laminitis. Lots of people have been caught out and it's heartbreaking. Hope everything turns out for the best for both of you, lots of love Lucy and Jessie xxx

Lamminitis is the worst fear of all us pony people, it creeps up and bang its there, the only thing I can say is never blame yourself, we live in a world of pasture that is not designed for ponies, we care for them so well, that their systems cannot cope, but, if we kept them as they should, they would be walking around like poor little ponies, and we cannot bear to see them like that. We have a lot of ponies here and we get it , despite being vigilant, and everytime my heart sinks, and I feel very down, but all I can say is that they can come back, and 99% of the time they do. Keep keeping on!!!

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!! It's so nice to have the support. For those of you who know Titch you will know how careful i am. She had her back shoes of at 1pm today and we have been hot tubbing her feet. The pain killers were doing nothing, but after having the shoes of tonight she was nearly 50 percent better than this morning. The tail swishing was less and also the flinching in pain had gone. Will update tomorrow on how she is and hopefully she will make a steady improvement The vet is coming back on thursday to see how she is. She is getting loads of cuddles and have passed them all on from you guys At least i can sleep tonight as i didn't last night Also Titch should get a bit of sleep too

With or without a pony you will always be welcome at our shows. Pity you don't live nearer I could have found you a pony project to bring on and keep you busy. I will be thinking of Titch and you will both be missed in the workers. There is life after lammie!

Awwww, I'm so sorry to that the dreaded Lammi has hit Titch. Given time, tho, she will recover with all of the TLC and careful management you are giving her (my farrier also said that this year is the worst he's ever know for cases of Lammi). Hope Titch is feeling a bit better again today ... and hope that you are feeling better too Hope to see you at the Champs .... an extra pair of hands is always welcome when it comes to my pony.
